The Adams’ family will soon be returning to the homeland of the new Wimbledon champion; and far more importantly, to the native soil of John Knox.
The plan is to spend lots of time with family, and a little time (probably about 45 minutes per day) with a few books.
My three books are:
- The Life of Martyn Lloyd Jones: 1899-1981 by Iain Murray (2013)
- Atheism’s New Clothes: Exploring and Exposing the Claims of the New Atheists by David H. Glass (2012)
- The Conviction to Lead: 25 Principles for Leadership That Matters by Albert Mohler (2012)
My wife is hoping to read The Secret Thoughts Of An Unlikely Convert by Rosaria Butterfield (2012); our church’s recommended ‘book of the month’ for June.
So friends, I hope you get an opportunity for some down-time over the summer and that a few good books refresh your soul.
Why not be so kind as to let me know what you are reading? I am already starting to compile next year’s reading list in the back of my head!Tweet
